Randoms

• Went to watch 'How to Train Your Dragon' in 3D. Loved it! I thought it was cute and the script was quite witty. The dragon was very cat-like which made me love it even more! (and thats my review for the movie, ladies and gents!)

• Saw a pair of neon green chucks and fell in love. Although I still want to get my pair of mustard coloured chucks first. I think I am slowly but surely falling in love with chucks.

• Saw these shoes in Miu Miu and was blown away by the sheer awesomeness of it! I repeat, awesomeness!!

• Had some juice at Boost. Even though I ordered and payed for a kids size cup, the really sweet server gave me a medium sized cup. Thank you, you rock!

• Had very yummy beef bacon burger but was disappointed that Chili's does not carry the nachos that I love so much.

• Really really need to get a mani/pedi but I am so broke; gas is really expensive people.

• Saw the poster for 'The Last Airbender'. I am beyond excited!

• Enjoyed a proper massage. It was a very interesting experience and may want to do it again after my finals. But this time it would be whole body massage! haha!

• Am so freaking behind on all my essays and presentations that I took a day off today to breathe a little.

• My lecturer dozed off when I was presenting yesterday or at least that was it looked like. I was so freaking angry. It's called being a professional, have ya ever heard of that??!

• Been really swamped that I couldn't read and comment on all the lovely blogs out there that I've been following. =(

• Managed to put together some happy mail. =)

Foot in Mouth

Seriously I think I am socially challenged.

I keep saying all the wrong and weird things at the wrong times.

Things that actually hurt people's feelings.

I really don't mean to though.

I can't decide between kicking myself and digging a hole to bury myself in.

I think the hole option sounds better;

at least I won't be in social situations anymore.

I am seriously ridiculously stupid and quite probably socially retarded.

Ever since I heard this song playing on the radio, I was in love with it.

I was probably about 16 or 17 and I thought that this song was written for me.

My favourite quote comes from this song actually;

I was lonely, very much like I am now, and I knew that one day I will be loved.

I thought that someone would be there for me.

I think that in some ways maybe this song portrays how hopeless a romantic I am.

I need to be needed by my partner.

Not clingy and desperate needy, but just a simple and basic need for me.

I want to be loved and pampered,

even rescued if ever a situation calls for it.

All in all,

I want to be the centre of my partners universe.

Too much to ask and hope for right?

I know I sound ridiculous,

I basically am.

And I realised that is why I love Wuthering Heights so much.

A hopeless, passionate and obsessive love, which never resulted in anything good.

I think I'm going on and on and on without ever getting to the point.

The point is I am deathly lonely right now.

But I know that I will be loved.

A Wednesday

Hello hello boys and girls.

Sorry I haven't been posting and commenting regularly,

I am sick (again!) with a sore throat, runny nose, headaches, body aches and etc.

And also I am swamped with school work.

Right now as I type this, I am supposed to be working on a presentation on a Vietnamese novel (Paradise of the Blind) but yet here I am!

Anyways yesterday I finally met up with my dear friend Fana.

We've been trying to meet up ever since I moved back to Kuala Lumpur but there never seem to be the time for it.

So yesterday I sacrificed whole day of working on my assignments (yeah right!) to meet up with her.

It was a whole lot of fun, catching up and gossiping, eventhough we were both sick.

We were talking so loudly to each other because we couldn't hear properly due to the congestion!

All I can hope for is that people didnt hear parts of our conversation that was supposed to be private!

Sunroof+Camera=FUN!

hello boys and girls,

it's Monday and its back to the daily grind of work and school.

I have a 10 page research paper due tomorrow and instead of working on it I much rather blog.

That's how good a blogger I am *wink* and how terrible a student *groan*!

Anyways I had a stroke of brilliance while on the drive back to Penang,why not take pictures of myself with the sunroof?

It was really a whole lot of fun.

After a bit of taking my pictures my second brother joined in on the fun too.

I am pretty excited to be showing you these pictures.

We managed to see a rainbow on the way back home yesterday.

And now, on to a really short nap.

I promise it is gona be really short,

and then the writing begins.

Since I am a really broke student I opted for the budget restaurant Sushi King.

It's been such a long time!

Salmon Steak

So boys and girls,

that was how I spent my friday before my class where we were supposed to be discussing said book.

It was such a rubbish lecture though.

My friends and I all had this feeling that our lecturer probably hasn't read the whole book yet.

Such a waste of time!

Made me so mad!

Today I am heading back, with my brothers, for a short trip back home to Penang.

Over The Weekend

Hello hello!

Sorry I was m.i.a. over the weekend.

My mom and aunt came up to Kuala Lumpur form Penang and suffice to say that they kept me busy and tired me out with all the walking we did.

Not only that, we stuffed our faces with lots and lots of food!

At times I was so hungry I practically inhaled all the food before realising that I should have taken at least a picture first!

So here are some of the pictures that I managed to take before digging in!

*Saturday*

This was an authentic Indian vegetarian plate that my mom had for lunch at Sangeetha restaurant.

I had the aloo pratha (bread stuffed with potatoes) but I practically inhaled it since I was so hungry!

We had Arab food for dinner in a restaurant called Sahara Tent.

The mint tea was excellent!

We had the chicken briyani for dinner.

God, it was so extremely greasy but really really good!

The chicken melted in my mouth like butter, butter I tells ya!!

*Sunday*

Then on Sunday when we headed to the cloth district, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, it was the last kilometre for the finishing of the Le Tour de Langkawi race.

I even took a video.

Just ignore the first few minutes though!

All in all we (my brothers and I) ensured that my mom and aunt had a good time.

We also made sure that they tried new things, well in this case new food-and try they did.

They had Peranakan style food, Indian vegetarian food, Arab food and Indonesian food.

Good stuff!

It's back to the treadmill for me!!

But with all the excitement and everything, I actually forgot to submit my assignment which was due yesterday (Monday).

Can you believe that?

I had it all done and ready, all I had to do was print it out and I forgot!

Luckily my lecturer was a sport about it and he said I can just slide it under his door today.

Thank God for that!
