
At the end of 2010, I decided something should be done about my jelly-belly. Since I've always been interested in Yoga I thought, why the hell not?
Amy and I signed up for a pretty sweet deal for three months. And all I can say right now is: YOGA IS
seriously KICKING MY ASS! I feel pain in places that I didn't know exist, my muscles are basically bits of unattractive jelly!!
That's not the worst part, there are ladies much older than me who can easily do headstands, shoulder stands and what not. Aaaaaand they are way much fitter than me! How embarrassing is that? oh yeah and I'm in the beginners class. By the end of almost every class I huff and puff like I just ran a freaking marathon! Oh yeah, and I can't walk properly. Uhuh, completely shatters the image of Yoga being calming and serene. It hurts like a biatch!
All the complaining aside, I know that I am getting my money's worth and at least something is kicking my ass to attempt to be healthy! Sounds crazy right? But yeah, we all need a kick in the butt sometimes, right? ;)
